The Prospects of Bilateral Cooperation between Russia and China in the Management of State-owned Enterprises Were Discussed in Beijing
In Beijing, a working meeting of the Federal Agency for State Property Management delegation headed by Vadim Yakovenko with the head of Committee for the Control and Management of State Property under the State Council of the People's Republic of China (PRC) Hao Peng took place. The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation.
The heads of departments exchanged experience in managing state enterprises and discussed their role in the economies of countries, the structure and principles of management.
Vadim Yakovenko noted the importance of the meeting from the point of view of working out optimal and effective solutions in fulfilling the tasks facing the Federal Agency for State Property Management in the field of state property management. «We're particularly interested of the experience in building a corporate governance system in China. The exchange of experience will contribute to mutually beneficial cooperation in the management of state enterprises for their sustainable development».
The meeting participants discussed the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Federal Agency for State Property Management and the Committee for the Control and Management of State Property under the State Council of PRC.
The delegation of the Federal Agency for State Property Management headed by Vadim Yakovenko also met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to China Andrei Denisov. The meeting was held at the embassy of the Russian Federation in the People's Republic of China.
As part of a working trip, the delegation of the Federal Agency for State Property Management visited Shanghai, where it got acquainted with the activities of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) and Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (ZPMC). Companies with a state participation in the PRC are implementing joint projects with the Russian Federation in aircraft and machine building.
